I am an amateur photographer and a history buff who loves reading and travelling. My travelling interests are mainly in India and I am yet to cover a very large part of it. I believe that India is so diverse and replete with history that a lifetime is not enough to see it all. This website is a modest attempt to document the interesting places I have been to apart from the creative desire to showcase my work as a hobbyist photographer.

I am a keen follower of Indian geopolitical history from the ancient times till now and my reading list closely reflects the same. I like to thoroughly research the places I photograph and I love to absorb the places in person.

I publish my photos and blogs under the pseudonym Baadal, which happens to be my childhood nickname too. From Hindi to English, Baadal translates to Cloud!

I listen to all good music though I have a special liking for old bollywood numbers. Western classic rock too forms a major spectrum of my music interests.

When I am not doing any of the above, I program computers for a living. I am currently based out of Pune after having lived in New Delhi, India, for past 22 years and my memorable childhood was spent in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India.

Note: The photos in this website have been scaled down and their quality reduced to keep the file size at the minimum. Please contact me for high resolution and quality copies.
